Is it permissible to buy computer magazines that contain pictures of unveiled women, even though they are useful, given the concern that their capital might be unlawful? And does this ruling apply equally to Muslims and disbelievers? And is purchasing them considered a matter of doubt (shubha)?

If scientific magazines free from images of immodestly dressed women are available, it is not permissible to purchase those that contain such images. However, if they are not available and a person needs them, there is no objection to purchasing them, provided that one lowers their gaze from those images. This is due to necessity and the widespread prevalence of such images in most scientific magazines. As for refraining from purchase due to a fear that the money might be unlawful, this concern is not to be heeded unless a person is certain or strongly presumes it to be so. Indeed, the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and his Companions, dealt with disbelievers despite knowing that they engaged in usury and unlawfully consumed people's wealth.
