Ayman ibn Ubayd is Ayman, the son of Umm Ayman, the wet-nurse of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and the maternal brother of Usamah ibn Zayd. He was martyred on the Day of Hunayn. As for Asla' ibn Shareek, he was a great companion who served the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and prepared his she-camel for travel. The statements of biographers regarding him have varied, but the most probable opinion is that he was a Tamimi from Banu al-A'raj.
