To whom is the money purified at 15% of the stock sale given?
Perhaps the questioner, by purifying his money and giving out 15% of the profits, means that he was a shareholder in a company that invests this amount of its money in usurious banks. It is not permissible to participate in such companies in the first place, and whoever has contributed to it must repent to Allah, annul the contract, and withdraw from the company.
Since the questioner has sold his share in this company, he must repent to Allah for having entered into it and for aiding in the unlawful by selling the shares. Then, he must give in charity the amount of the unlawful money. The disbursement of this money should be for the benefit of Muslims and charitable causes, including giving it to the poor and needy. There is no harm in giving it to needy relatives, provided that their maintenance is not obligatory upon him.
