What is the percentage that must be disposed of to purify 60% of the profits obtained from bank certificates, after the bank deducted 40% of the original profits, and is the 40% deducted counted within the required purification percentage of 50%, and what are the channels for spending the purification amount?

If the people of knowledge have issued a fatwa for you to give out half of the profit, then you must give out thirty thousand from the sixty thousand that the bank paid to you, in order to purify your wealth. This money should be spent for the general welfare of Muslims or for the poor and needy. It is not permissible for you to take from it for yourself and your family, unless you are in need, like the need of the poor and the destitute, in which case you may only take what suffices your need. As for the bank's share of the profit, it is not included in the purification amount.
