What is the ruling on accepting invitations that contain reprehensible things, such as drums and flutes, especially if the inviter is a close relative?

It is not permissible to accept an invitation if it involves forbidden acts such as alcohol, smoking, indecent films, intermingling of sexes, and ostentatious display of adornment, unless the invited person is capable of removing or mitigating the forbidden act, or if their presence would lead to the abandonment of these forbidden acts. Otherwise, one should not attend, even if the host is a relative.
