Should I maintain ties with my sorceress aunt who is hostile to my mother, given my fear of her sorcery?

Maintaining ties of kinship is obligatory, and the paternal aunt is among those relatives with whom ties must be maintained. It is obligatory to maintain ties with your paternal aunt and to strive to free her from the act of disbelief and to repent from it, if it is proven that she is a sorceress. Recite much seeking refuge (with Allah) and the prescribed remembrances (adhkar) before visiting her. After offering advice, you may shun her for a period if that affects her, while also trying to reconcile between her and your mother. Do not be affected by her dislike for you; rather, maintain ties with her and respond to her ill-treatment with kindness.
