Do the prostration of posteriority (sujūd al-baʿdī) and the prostration of anteriority (sujūd al-qablī) differ in how they are performed, and does one say the salām after them?

Scholars differ on the place of the prostration of forgetfulness (sujud al-sahw). Some say it is after the salutation (taslim), some say before it, and some elaborate. If one performs the prostration of forgetfulness, one then recites the tashahhud for it and then gives the salutation. Ibn Taymiyyah preferred that one does not recite the tashahhud for it, but rather performs two prostrations and then gives the salutation.
