Is it permissible to give the zakat from crops and livestock to the son of the debtor, knowing that he has a share in it?

It is permissible to give one's brother zakat if he is in debt and does not possess enough to repay his debt, in accordance with the Almighty's saying: "Indeed, zakat expenditures are only for the poor and for the needy and for those employed to collect [zakat] and for bringing hearts together [for Islam] and for freeing captives [or slaves] and for those in debt." However, it is not permissible for him to take his own zakat or benefit from it.
