Does the Sharia prevent a wife from asking her husband about his whereabouts?

The Shariah obliges spouses to treat each other with kindness, and both spouses have different rights and duties that are appropriate for their respective natures. It is not known in Shariah or custom that a wife has the right to know where her husband goes every time, because a husband goes out for many different purposes. Nevertheless, it is not forbidden for a wife to ask her husband occasionally, but this should not become a continuous habit. It is recommended for the husband to inform his wife of his whereabouts if his absence is prolonged or if the place is dangerous, as this shows appreciation for her, alleviates anxiety, and strengthens the marital relationship. The wife is warned against asking excessively about her husband's movements, just as the husband is advised to fear Allah in his outings.
