Is it permissible for someone who swore by triple divorce, then retracted the oath, then swore again by divorce and retracted the oath, then swore a third time by triple divorce and told his wife, "You are divorced 3 times," and then said to her, "You are unlawful to me like my mother and my sister," to retract this oath with a new marriage contract and a new dowry?

Marriage is a strong bond and a great ritual, and it is not permissible for the husband to trifle with it. The husband must either hold on with kindness or separate with goodness.

Swearing by divorce is an oath that cannot be undone, and if the subject of the oath occurs, the divorce takes place. If the husband combines the three divorces in one utterance, it counts as three divorces according to the majority of scholars, and the woman becomes irrevocably separated from her husband. Any subsequent divorce or ẓihār (a statement by the husband that his wife is like his mother's back, implying unlawful sexual intercourse) is considered null and void.

The husband's cohabitation with his wife after this divorce is considered zina (unlawful sexual intercourse), and the children born from this union are attributed to him if he believed his wife was lawful to him.

His (Allah's) saying, "until she marries another husband," means a marriage of genuine desire, and not the marriage of muḥallil (a man who marries a divorced woman solely to make her lawful for her previous husband), which is a void trick.
