Is the bleeding resulting from delaying a menstrual period prevention pill considered menstrual blood, and does it affect the validity of prayer, circumambulation (Tawaf), and reading the Qur'an?

There is no need to take pills to delay menstruation from its appointed time, for it is Allah who decreed menstruation for women, and it is He who commanded them to perform Hajj, and He has not placed them in hardship. The correct approach is to go for Hajj, and if menstruation occurs during the performance of the Hajj rites, then the woman should perform all the rites of Hajj except for circumambulating the Kaaba; she should not do it until she becomes pure. This is how the Prophet (peace be upon him) commanded Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her).
