How can one make one's heart always present with Allah, even outside of times of worship, and how can the love of Allah dominate one's heart?

The presence of the heart in worship and feeling Allah’s watchfulness are among the greatest needs of a servant for his happiness. This can be achieved through several means, including: purifying one's intention, feeling Allah's sight, eliminating distractions before worship, focusing on the actions of the heart (such as reliance on Allah, fear, hope, gratitude, and contentment), enjoining good and forbidding evil and inviting to Allah with wisdom, being keen on good companionship and avoiding bad company, frequently remembering death, contemplating Allah’s signs and blessings, diversifying acts of worship and remembrances, and permissible recreation, all while persistently supplicating.
