Is the cuckold he who allows his female family members to go wherever they please, or grants them freedom regarding the hijab, or dreams of his daughter becoming a doctor in a mixed-gender university, while not criticizing someone who sends his son to the West, or the girl who marries a young man who used to commit fornication, or he who describes a young man's fornication as a slip and a girl's fornication as a scandal, or he who trivializes some sins while being strict about others?
He who sends his son to Western countries, knowing that he will fall into immorality, is sinful, for Allah Almighty says: "O you who have believed, protect yourselves and your families from a Fire whose fuel is people and stones." The one who repents from adultery is forgiven, so there is no blame on the girl if she marries him. Adultery is an abomination for both male and female, and the punishment for the male and female adulterer is the same. Differentiating between the adultery of a young man and a young woman, considering it a slip for the young man and a scandal for the young woman, is not from the Sharia; rather, it is a custom among people. Islam did not differentiate between them except by the characteristics unique to each.
