What is the ruling on taking money in exchange for opening the Qur’an, and what should I do with the money received, even though the homeowners treated me well?

Emigration to non-Muslim countries is not permissible except for one who is able to practice his religion and is safe from falling into tribulations. A woman's travel is not permissible except with a mahram. As for the sheikh opening the book for optimism, it is not permissible according to the preponderant opinion, and is considered a type of forbidden divining, as stated by the people of knowledge. It is like the forbidden divining by arrows mentioned in the Quran: "And that you seek to know your fate by divining arrows. That is a transgression."
