Does repentance for some sins become void if the penitent based his repentance on a jurisprudential opinion and then it became clear to him that the other opinion is more correct?

A Muslim must hasten to repent from all sins. According to the majority of scholars, repentance is valid for some sins without being valid for others. Repentance is not invalidated if a Muslim follows the opinion of a scholar and later discovers that another opinion is more correct.
