Is it permissible to use usurious funds (riba) to pay the unjust inheritance tax imposed on orphans and widows, which they are unable to pay, in order to prevent their properties from being seized?

The way to dispose of usurious interest money is to spend it on charitable causes with the intention of getting rid of the unlawful, not as charity. There is no harm in using this money to pay an obligatory tax, provided that these interest gains do not belong to the money of orphans and widows. If they do, then it is not permissible to pay the tax from them. It must be emphasized that it is not permissible to deposit money in usurious banks except out of extreme necessity. If there is no Islamic bank, it should be placed in a current account, not a savings account. If it is placed in a savings account, then the interest must be disposed of.
