Is there any special virtue for the fifteenth day of Sha‘ban, and have any proofs been reported concerning that?

The night of mid-Sha'ban is a virtuous night, concerning which weak hadiths have been reported, such as: "Indeed, Allah looks upon His creation on the night of mid-Sha'ban and forgives all His creation except for a polytheist or one who harbors malice." Some scholars have deemed the hadith "When it is the night of mid-Sha'ban, Allah looks upon His creation and forgives the believers, gives respite to the disbelievers, and leaves the people of hatred with their hatred until they abandon it" as fair (hasan). However, this night should not be singled out for Qiyam (night prayer) or worship unless it coincides with a person's usual practice. Singling it out for worship, apart from other nights, is considered an innovation (bid'ah), because the hadiths that specify it for worship are weak or fabricated. One should draw closer to Allah through what is authentic and established from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and follow the principle: "Leave that which makes you doubt for that which does not make you doubt."
