What is the ruling on the prayer and fasting of a woman who suffers from an ovarian cyst and experiences brown blood spots?

A woman must pray and fast unless she sees menstrual blood. As for brown spots, they are considered discharge (kudra) and are not considered menstruation unless they are connected to blood or occur during the usual period. They are impure and must be washed from clothes. If these spots appear outside the usual period, one must perform ablution (wudu') and purify the body and clothes from anything that touches them.
