The answer

Working in politics is not forbidden (); rather, it is a communal obligation (fard kifayah) and may even become an individual obligation (fard ayn) for some. -compliant politics means managing the affairs of the people according to religion, and it is obligatory to preserve the interests of Muslims. Al-Mawardi stated that the Imamate is established as a succession to prophethood in guarding religion and managing worldly affairs. The one who works in politics is rewarded for it if their intention is sincere, and some scholars have even preferred it over individual obligations. This obligation has been distorted due to ignorance of the true nature of religion and the influence of some who advocate for the separation of religion and politics, whereas the religion of Islam is comprehensive, encompassing all aspects of life.
