Does a father's reproach in a harsh manner fall under the category of undutifulness?

The Shari'ah has made it obligatory to be kind to and dutiful towards parents, and has forbidden mistreating them, even if they commit wrongdoing, because their wrongdoing does not justify mistreating them. Among the acts of dutifulness towards them are supplicating for their well-being and advising them gently and respectfully. Among the acts of mistreating them is speaking harshly, which is an act of disobedience (to parents) and a grave sin that necessitates sincere repentance, apology, and seeking forgiveness.
