Is a person to be blamed for hating his father who was remiss in his duties toward him, his mother, and his siblings, and what is the ruling of Sharia on that?

One must be dutiful to one's parent and obey them in what is right, even if they mistreat or wrong you. It is not permissible to respond to undutifulness with undutifulness, or to injustice with injustice. It is permissible to inwardly dislike a disobedient parent, without verbally or physically abusing them. It is recommended to supplicate for their guidance, repentance, and for them to mend what they have corrupted.
