Am I permitted to marry an infertile man in order to care for my elderly and ill parents, my sick sister, and her two orphaned daughters, given the absence of male siblings to help us?

It is advisable to agree to marry a man if he is religious and has good character, based on the saying of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "If there comes to you one whose religion and character you approve, then marry [your daughter] to him; otherwise, there will be tribulation on earth and widespread corruption." A religious person is understood to be one who observes the obligatory duties and avoids major sins. It is also recommended to perform Istikhara (prayer for guidance) and consult trustworthy people before proceeding. In the event of marriage, one should persistently supplicate to Allah for the healing of infertility, as Allah is capable of removing infertility, as happened with the wife of Ibrahim and the wife of Zakariyya.
