Is it permissible to deal with someone who takes a percentage of money in exchange for providing cash liquidity of the same currency, in order to meet essential household needs, given the unavailability of another way to obtain liquidity?

It is permissible for the money seeker to transfer an amount to the account of the merchant or the owner of the remittance office, so that the merchant gives him the transferred amount in exchange for a commission they agree upon. This transaction is considered rendering a permissible service in exchange for a known عوض (compensation). There is no difference whether the merchant withdraws the money from his account or gives the service seeker an amount from what he possesses, as banknotes are equal in value and are not designated by specific identification. This is what the Hanafis have adopted.
