Working in the Ministry of Culture in the field of films and TV series is forbidden, due to its involvement in assisting with or directly engaging in haram (unlawful) activities. Consequently, the resulting pension is also haram because it is based on something unlawful and because they invest in usury (riba).

The fundamental principle regarding this pension is that it should not be taken. However, if it will be left for them (the people in charge) to consume as ill-gotten gain (suḥt) or to invest in usury, then it is better to take it and donate it for charitable causes and the welfare of Muslims. As for real estate and similar assets built with this unlawful money, there is no obligation to sell them. However, it is obligatory to donate an amount equivalent to the unlawful money if one was aware of its prohibition.
