Will children be held accountable for the sins of their parents? And will a supplication against a son befall him if the father wronged someone and supplicated against the son? And does this fall under the saying of Allah the Almighty: "And no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another"? And will the supplication of an oppressor against someone he did not wrong be answered?

Allah Almighty is Just and Merciful; He does not hold a servant accountable for the transgression of another, as indicated by the verses: "And no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another," and "Every soul, for what it earned, will be detained." Therefore, a person supplicating against another because of an injustice committed by the latter's father is an excess and an injustice in supplication, is not permissible, and will not be answered for its petitioner, because among the conditions for a supplication to be answered is that it must not contain sin or the severing of kinship ties.
