What are the best supplications a Muslim can recite during bowing (ruku') and prostration (sujud)?

The best supplications in bowing (Ruku') and prostration (Sujud) are the Prophetic supplications, among which are:

- "Glorified are You, O Allah, our Lord, and with Your praise, O Allah, forgive me."

- "All-Glorious, All-Holy, Lord of the angels and the Spirit."

- "O Allah, to You I have bowed, in You I have believed, to You I have submitted, and upon You I have relied. You are my Lord. My hearing, my sight, my flesh, my blood, my brain, and my nerves are humbled before Allah, the Lord of the worlds."

- "Glorified is the Possessor of omnipotence, sovereignty, grandeur, and greatness."

- "O Allah, forgive me all my sins, the minor and the major, the first and the last, the secret and the open."

- "O Allah, I seek refuge in Your pleasure from Your wrath, and in Your pardon from Your punishment, and I seek refuge in You from You. I cannot enumerate Your praises; You are as You have praised Yourself."

It is recommended for the worshiper to exert effort in supplicating during prostration, for the Prophet, peace be upon him, said: "As for Ruku', glorify the Lord therein; and as for Sujud, strive hard in supplication, for it is most likely that your supplication will be answered."
