Is a person who seeks a fatwa entitled to demand a share of the profits of a laundry in which he was a partner, after his withdrawal from it and the subsequent expansion of the partnership?

In Islamic Sharia, a partnership is based on the principle that profit and loss are distributed according to each partner's capital contribution. If a partner wishes to withdraw, they are entitled to their capital and any accrued profit. If there is a loss, it is deducted from their capital proportionally to their share. It is not permissible for partners to guarantee one another's capital.

For the questioner, upon withdrawal, he is entitled to his capital and any profit, provided there is no loss. There is no basis for him to feel that there is an element of gharar (excessive uncertainty or risk) in his withdrawal, as he chose to leave voluntarily before the company improved. He has the right to demand his due from his partners.
