Is it permissible to enroll in the Faculty of Fine Arts and specialize in graphic design, while avoiding drawing animate beings, and if compelled to draw them for an exam, would there be any sin in that, given the intention to use these skills in fields that do not displease Allah?

It is impermissible to learn sculpture and drawing of animate beings, whereas it is permissible for inanimate objects. Some scholars have permitted animate beings if they are deficient in creation in a way that prevents the continuation of life with their existence, such as being headless or half-bodied. It is not permissible to obey a creature in a matter involving the drawing or sculpting of that which is not lawful.
