Is a girl who wears the niqab out of conviction, despite her parents' objection, obligated to remove it to please them, or is pleasing one's parents not at odds with her wearing the niqab?

Covering the face is obligatory, and it is not permissible to obey one's father if he orders its removal, for there is no obedience to a created being in disobedience to the Creator. The father's displeasure in this case is not considered religiously. It is advised to be patient and treat the father kindly, and to strive in one's studies, for whoever seeks the pleasure of Allah, even if it displeases people, Allah will suffice him against the burden of people.
