Allah has made it obligatory to fulfill trusts () and has forbidden their betrayal. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, considered betrayal to be one of the signs of hypocrisy.
There is no difference in the prohibition of betrayal between a Muslim and a non-Muslim. In fact, trustworthiness and truthfulness present a good model for Muslims.
Financial agreements must be honored, and no increase beyond the agreed-upon salary should be taken. It is not permissible to discount or drop others' invoices.
One must repent for these actions by returning the rights to the company, whether it be what was taken in excess of the salary or what was dropped from invoices.
