Is it permissible to write "إنا لله وإنا إليه راجعون" (Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return) using non-Arabic letters?
If the intention behind this writing is recitation and that it is from the Qur’an, then it is not permissible to write it in non-Arabic letters, in order to preserve thean from distortion. However, if the intention is for remembrance (dhikr) and not recitation, and the purpose of writing it is to console a person, then we see no objection to writing it in those letters.
