Is it permissible to buy a car in Libya with a certified check, the value of which is 17,000 dinars cash, with the addition of 1,000 dinars as commission, making it 18,000 dinars, despite the lack of liquidity and the high exchange rate of the dollar?

If the price of a car is 17,000 dinars in cash, and 18,000 dinars by certified check, there is no harm in this, provided it is agreed upon in the contract and the separation does not occur with the option between the two payments. This is to avoid falling into two sales in one sale, which is forbidden by Islamic law. There is no harm for the car owner in setting a different price for payment by check.
