Is loving a young man whose life has changed and who has become religiously committed considered a sin, given that the relationship did not exceed hints and led to the questioner's guidance and commitment?

There is no blame for heartfelt love over which one has no control, based on the Almighty's saying: "And there is no blame upon you for that in which you have erred, but [there is blame for] what your hearts have intended." One must be careful that this love does not lead to something displeasing to Allah. Marriage is the ideal solution for those who love each other, as the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Nothing better has been seen for two who love each other than marriage." A woman has the right to propose to the man she wishes to marry, within the bounds of Islamic etiquette. If marriage is facilitated, then it is good; otherwise, one must forget the matter and strive to do so.
