What is the difference between printed versions of the Qur’an concerning the words: (وأوصى - ووصى) in Surat Al-Baqarah, and (يرتد - يرتدد) in Surat Al-Ma'idah, and what is the explanation for this, taking into consideration the verse: "And if it were from [anywhere] other than Allah, they would have found within it much inconsistency"?

The Qur'anic manuscripts I have seen, one is with the recitation of Imam Nafi' (used by Moroccans and many Africans), and the other is with the narration of Hafs from Asim (used by the majority of the Islamic world). Nafi' recites "وأوصى" (awaṣā) with a hamza and "من يرتدد" (man yartadid) with the idgham (merging) released, while Hafs recites "ووصى" (waṣṣā) with a shaddah on the ṣād and "يرتد" (yartadd) with idgham. Both recitations are correct and have been transmitted through continuous chains.
