What is the ruling on a wife refusing intimacy with her husband because he has not paid debts he owes her, and is it better to remain in this marital relationship or to divorce?

You must seek refuge in Allah Almighty to settle your debts, and increase your supplications. It has been reported from Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, taught Abu Umamah a supplication for Allah to remove his worries and settle his debt, which is: "O Allah, I seek refuge in You from anxiety and sorrow, and I seek refuge in You from inability and laziness, and I seek refuge in You from cowardice and stinginess, and I seek refuge in You from the burden of debt and the oppression of men." This should be recited in the morning and in the evening.
