What is the ruling of the Sharia on one who eats camel meat and then stands for prayer?
The Hanafis, Malikis, Shafi'is, and a number of Companions held the view that eating camel meat does not invalidate ablution (wudu'), whereas the Hanbalis and a number of other scholars held that it does invalidate ablution. This latter view is the most preponderant due to the hadith of Al-Bara' bin 'Azib, in which the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) commanded performing ablution after eating camel meat.
