هل توجد في الحياة الآخرة أنهار وجبال وكواكب ونجوم؟

Belief in Paradise is obligatory, and it is among the unseen matters. Allah and His Messenger have informed us of some of its characteristics to entice us to it, and that its delights are completely different from those in this world, in accordance with the Almighty's saying: "No soul knows what has been hidden for them of comfort for eyes as reward for what they used to do."

The revelation mentioned the rivers of Paradise, its pure white soil like musk, its construction from gold and silver, its palaces and chambers whose exterior can be seen from their interior, and its tents made of pearls.

As for the sun and the moon, they have no existence in Paradise; rather, it is a perpetual light by which they know the times.

Regarding mountains and plains, no text has been revealed to affirm or deny their existence, but the generality of the Almighty's saying: "And therein is whatever souls desire and [wherein] eyes find delight, and you will abide therein eternally" includes everything that the people of Paradise wish for.
