What is the ruling on placing a well-known series' title with a normal picture, without publishing the original video of the series, with the aim of attracting visitors and earning profit from AdSense or e-marketing?

It is not permissible to advertise a TV series by mentioning its name, even without the video content, because that promotes and publicizes evil. Allah Almighty says: "And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression."
