Does financial gain from Islamic applications affect the reward of spreading the religion?

There is no objection to publishing articles from the internet and attributing them to their sources. Earning profit from advertisements is also permissible if the advertised content is permissible and the advertisement does not contain any Sharia-prohibited elements. Profit from advertisements in applications that spread religious knowledge does not diminish the reward; rather, the doer is rewarded if he intends it for the sake of Allah, even if he also intends a worldly gain. Ibn Taymiyyah was asked about someone who copied religious books for sale, and he answered that the person is rewarded for writing them, whether he wrote them for himself or for sale. Some scholars have gone further, stating that a Muslim is rewarded for every act that benefits others, even if he does not intend to gain reward, such as planting trees or crops from which a human, bird, or animal eats, for that is charity for him.
