Is it obligatory to consult the mother afflicted with Alzheimer's or the children before giving charity from her money?

The majority of scholars permit interdicting someone who has become old and whose mind has deteriorated. Abu Hanifa and some of the Zahiris disagreed with this. If it rules for her interdiction, then the guardian overseeing her affairs is not permitted to give charity from her wealth or to make gratuitous gifts from it. Rather, he should manage it in a way that is most beneficial for her. The ruling does not change whether she or her children give permission.
