Prayer is a great obligation and must be observed at its prescribed times and with the congregation, especially Friday prayer, for which a severe warning has been issued against those who abandon it out of negligence. Your brother's work at night does not justify him sleeping through prayers or Friday prayer. Rather, he must take the necessary measures to wake up for prayer, for the first thing a servant will be held accountable for on the Day of Judgment is prayer. It is not advisable for him to change his job; instead, he should strive to maintain his prayers. If sleep overcomes him once after taking the necessary measures, he is excused.
