Is the Hadith, "The likeness of one who plays with dice, but does not gamble, is like one who anoints himself with his own fat, but does not eat his own flesh," authentic, despite Qatadah's tadlis (deception/concealment of sources), because Sa'id ibn Abi 'Arubah narrated from him?

The Mawquf tradition has a sound chain of narration. Qatadah's 'an'anah (narration using "on the authority of") is overlooked due to his numerous narrations and the scarcity of his tadlis (concealing the name of a shaykh) relative to his prodigious memory. It has not been mentioned that Sa'id ibn Abi 'Arubah's narration on the authority of Qatadah affects the acceptance of his 'an'anah. As for Shu'bah's narration from those who practiced tadlis, it would only be accepted if there was an explicit declaration of hearing (tasrih bi al-sama').
