Is a miracle repeated in the form of a miracle or as a special grace (karamah) for a saintly person?

The miracle (mu'jiza) is a proof of prophethood, and it is an extraordinary event that is sometimes accompanied by a challenge, and it ceases with the end of its time, though some miracles remain, like the Qur'an. As for the karamah (divine favor/wonder), it is for the saints (awliya'), and it is the occurrence of an extraordinary event at their hands, not by way of challenge, but rather Allah brings it about for them as a karamah, and it occurs at all times and in all places. The difference between extraordinary events for the saints and for others is steadfastness (istiqamah) and piety (taqwa). So, an extraordinary event for a saint of Allah is a karamah, while for others it is a gradual enticement (istidraj).
