What are the types of hadith that one should refrain from delving into?

A Muslim must guard their tongue, speaking only good. For whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day should speak good or remain silent. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, urged guarding the tongue in numerous hadiths, as failing to do so can lead to falling into forbidden acts.

The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, commanded refraining from delving into specific matters due to their harm, such as: 1. Speaking ill of the Companions: One must refrain from speaking ill of them and from delving into the disputes that occurred between them, because Allah has purified them and praised them in the Quran, and they are the transmitters of the religion. 2. Mentioning the stars: This refers to astrology, which is deriving conclusions about earthly events or knowing the unseen from astrological conditions. This is a forbidden matter. 3. Mentioning divine decree (Qadar): Divine decree is Allah's secret in His creation. One should not delve deeply into it or research it with speculation, thought, or obsessive whispering. Rather, one must submit to Allah's command concerning it.
