Is it permissible to count charities given with the intention of zakat as zakat?

This idea is not valid because the full zakat (definition) must be paid immediately, and it is not permissible to delay its payment when one is able to do so. Moreover, intention is a condition for paying zakat, and fulfilling the intention for the entire obligatory zakat in the manner mentioned is difficult to achieve. A Muslim must learn the rulings of zakat if their wealth reaches the nisab (definition) and a full year has passed over it.
