What is the authenticity of the Hadith: "O servants of Allah, help me"?

The aforementioned Hadith is weak due to three defects: the weakness of Abdul-Rahman ibn Shareek, the weakness of Shareek ibn Abdullah al-Nakha'i, and the interruption of the chain of transmission (Isnad) between Zayd ibn Ali and Utbah ibn Ghazwan. It also has a weak corroborating narration. Despite the weakness of both Hadiths, they do not indicate the permissibility of seeking aid from the dead. Rather, "servants of Allah" (عباد الله) refers to angels or jinn whom we do not see. Seeking aid from other than Allah is manifest polytheism (Shirk), as indicated by noble verses such as His (the Almighty's) saying: "And those whom you invoke other than Him do not possess [as much as] a Qitmeer. If you invoke them, they do not hear your supplication; and if they heard, they would not respond to you. And on the Day of Resurrection they will deny your association. And none can inform you like [one who is] an expert [with خبر - meaning deeply acquainted and experienced]."
