Is the questioner considered sinful for interrupting her mother for the most trivial reasons due to her illness which has affected her psychological state, and what should she do in her endeavor to honor and please her?

Patience with a mother's harm is obligatory, for she carried, nursed, and stayed up to care for you. Therefore, you must treat her kindly, not raise your voice at her, and appreciate her health conditions, based on the Almighty's saying: "And your Lord has decreed that you worship none but Him. And to parents, show good treatment. If one of them or both of them reach old age [while with you], say not to them [uff] and do not repel them but speak to them a noble word. And lower to them the wing of humility out of mercy and say, 'My Lord, have mercy upon them as they nurtured me when I was small.'" If she cuts you off without a sin, do not cut her off, but take the initiative to mend her affairs. And know that your reward will be multiplied by bearing her harm, for the Hereafter is better and more lasting.
