Is it permissible to spend the weekly charity designated for the living and the dead on Quran memorization classes, while maintaining the same reward?

It is permissible for the giver of charity to spend their alms on lessons for learning the Holy Quran, or assisting the needy, or mosque affairs, or other acts of righteousness. As for prioritizing among these expenditures, it cannot be definitively stated due to the varying circumstances depending on the different areas of charity in terms of importance, need, and the extensiveness of benefit. Giving should be according to the interest of Allah's religion, and the more obedient to Allah and beneficial to His religion it is, the more deserving it becomes. The charity given to one in need for the establishment of religion is greater than the charity given to one who is not in such a state, even if the latter is more in need.
