What is the ruling on contemplating the affairs of creation and the universe before the existence of Adam, and on Allah, the Hereafter, the grave, Paradise, Hellfire, and punishment?

Contemplation is a great act of worship that deepens faith. Islam encourages the use of reason and reflection on what the intellect can comprehend, considering it a path to belief in God. As for what the intellect cannot grasp, such as contemplating the essence of God or the reality of His attributes, one must refrain from delving into it. Knowledge of God is attained through what He has revealed about Himself in His Book and through the tongue of His Messenger, and through the signs He has dispersed throughout the universe. Similarly, contemplating unseen matters like the Last Day is done through the texts of revelation, the Quran and Sunnah, because matters of the unseen and creed depend on belief in revelation.
