Is the sister sinful for asking the man to divorce his first wife before marrying her?
What the sister did, asking this man for a divorce from his first wife, is and impermissible, because the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade a woman from asking for her sister's divorce so that she could marry, as in the noble : "A woman should not ask for the divorce of her sister to empty what is in her vessel."
The sister must fear Allah and not let jealousy lead her to injustice, for this is from the stinginess of the soul. And she should beware of him if he agrees with her, because he might repeat that in the future. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever wishes to be moved away from the Fire and entered into Paradise, let his death come to him while he believes in Allah and the Last Day, and let him treat people as he wishes to be treated."
